Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou
We want to thank all of our fantastic guests for choosing the Bitterroot River B&B this year.  We had our busiest season so far and the guests just keep coming! There were several days this year when all of the rooms were full, and we had to use the "Overflow" room downstairs.  It is a nice room, but doesn't have it's own private bathroom like the other guest rooms. If you don't see any vacancies for the dates you want, give us a call and we may be able to find a space for you. We also had several bicyclists camping in our yard this summer!

EAT and DRINK in Stevensville
The Fiesta en Jalisco Mexican restaurant has opened in Stevensville.  Yeah, local mexican food!

Your favorite Inkeeper, Shelley, enjoying a Porter at the Blacksmith Brewery in Stevi.

Don't forget to visit our friendly local microbrewery, Blacksmith Brewing, for some of the best Porter around and a pretty darn good IPA as well. Come to think of it, all of their beers are excellent. Maybe you should try them all! If you work up an appetite hoisting all of that beer, the Burger Shack, right next door, will deliver one of the best burgers you have ever had.

Happy New Year!

All the best to our new friends and our many loyal return customers. Hope to see you in the coming year!

Travellers for Open Lands

You may have noticed the literature and donation envelopes placed aroud the B&B. Last year, the Bitterroot River Bed and Breakfast became a charter member in this new conservation program. It is a program that we believe in and it will help to preserve the aspects of Montana that we all love the most; the amazing open mountain vistas, the unbelievable fishing and the access that we all have to recreate in beautiful Montana. Please check out this video and ask about how you can participate when you visit us next.

Bitterroot Trout ID

That is one of our guests with a nice rainbow he caught at the B&B. I caught the two Bitterroot Beauties below right in front of the B&B also. What species of trout are they? (answer below)

The top one is a rainbow and the bottom is a cutthroat.
